It's a bit tricky with Java code, though ?  Since you're not linking
lots of objects together to produce a single binary, there's only a
tenuous relationship between two random bits of code ?  Having said
that, I think they way the Systemics classes are bundled with this new
ssh in Java stuff is probably violating *their* licensing terms (!)

University to be its (intellectual) property - particularly if it was
developed using the University's equipment.

There are all sorts of grey areas, though - e.g. part time staff with 
lots of equipment of their own, he said :-)
