I sure did - clicked on the wrong link at freshrpms and didn't notice I had a
src rpm.
Now, I have xine installed, have made a link /dev/dvd to the dvd cdrom device,
and put a video dvd in the drive. When I execute xine in a terminal, I get
the following;

and I also get an error message in a window that says
- xine engine error -
There is no input plugin available to handle
'dvd://VIDEO_TS.VOB'.
Maybe MRL syntax is wrong or file/stream source doesn't exist.
I notice that xine says it can't find input_dvd:
Unable to find >VIDEO_TS.VOB< on dvd.
When I look at the DVD disc with the file manager, it shows a folder at the
root labeled video_ts which has the file video_ts_vob inside it. I am not
familiar with DVD structure. Is this the normal way for it to be structured?
If I right click on video_ts_vob in the Konqueror file manager and select open
with xine, xine will start and if I click the start button, it will play that
video segment which is the typical FBI warning and then stop.
Can anyone tell me what to do to get this working?
Thanks.
