I'm running KDE (NOT GNOME!!!) and for some really lousy reason, the
Powers That Be saw fit to cause my gnus newsreader to use gconfd to view
jpg files. I really hate the viewer, and *EVERY SINGLE TIME* gnus starts
viewer I get some gigantic pile of syslog messages:

Oct 19 20:34:06 saturn gconfd (steveo-20059): starting (version 1.2.1),
pid 20059 user 'steveo'

Anyone know how to get rid of it? :-(
