You can try to boot to windows manualy by typing the following commands
at the grub> command-prompt

grub> root (hd0,0)
grub> rootnoverify (hd0,0)
grub> makeactive
grub> chainloader +1
grub> boot

This is assuming that windows is installed on the first partition of the
first harddisk (hence the (hd0,0))
