ah! thanks. this sounds good. I didn't even think of that. so I need to get a 
caddy with 2 fw ports on it, then I can connect that to the mac, and the 
project mix to the drive.
Is this correct? I just want to make sure I am understanding you correctly. I 
think that's right.
