Hi all
A while ago I posted about this same subject. I said I'll be trying to
contact some of the big mixer manufacturers trying to encourage them
to make their mixer software for pc and mac accessible with screen
readers as this will enable us to use digital mixers. Well so far I
had no luck Soundcraft, yamaha and tascam is just impossible to
contact and at least allen & heath and midas came back to me and
assked me to email them and explain the situation, so I did but
nothing happened. Just want to find out from you if some of you have
heard anything with reguards to this matter, any devellopement in the
field or anything I don't know of yet. For what it's worth I'm
thinking of setting up a patitian about this to show the companies
that there is some demand for this type of thing. Yes we're not 1000s
of customers but on the other hand it won't be that difficult to make
the software accessible especially on mac. The main thing the
companies are looking for is if there's a demand and I think if we
could get a few voices together we might get further because I'm not
getting anyware on my own rite now.
