Yeah, that's going a bit more advanced that where I'm at right now. I've
not learned even the slighest about the Regions list. I thought that was
totally almost completely useless to us.
Also, you keep mentioning PT 10. Remember, I'm not on PT 10. I have 9.0.5

I believe PT comes with a free stripped down version of eleven, which is
avid own guitar amp modeler plug in. If not There is probably a trial out
ther to grab, or plug the the guitar into a distortion pedal then the
interface. The thrid cd is just a bunch of loops that you can just copy onto
your HD anywhere you want to store them, then import them into protools
like you any other audio file then build a track from them. However to get
them to snap to whaterver tempo the project is you will need to import them
to the region list then from the region list add them to the apropriate
track in PT. Not sure if you can use apple loos in Pro Tools or not, which
is essentially what the apple jam tracks stuff is i believe. Also the region
list i believe got renamed to the clips list in PT 10. VO sees them as
Tables and you have to interact with them like u do the track list.

The second question is: With my ProTools, I got 3 DVD's. One was the PT
MP 9.0 installation, one obviously were the software/drivers for my
M-Audio Fast Track C400, but the final one is where my question lies. It
says Loops and Sounds.
So, when I open the disk up in my Finder, it looks like all I am seeing
are basically just wave files of different instruments, etc. I don't see
an installer or such, unless I'm missing where the path is to it, but it
on the outside definitely does not appear obvious, if it indeed is there.
So, what exactly am I supposed to do with this DVD? How does it work
exactly? If I can't really use it the way I want, can I somehow import my
Garageband Jampacks into PT to use on an instrument track, or somehow
route them through an A U X track?
