Possible Protools User In The Future

Hello everyone,
I am a blind student of music and very interested in purchasing
protools in the upcoming year. I have been hearing through podcasts
that it is better that I go with version 9 due to some accessibility
issue concerning the plug-ins. What do you guys think? I'm tired of
Garageband lol. Thanks in advance for any replies.
