That is very canded of you and shows that you are a true leader. I thank you for your commitment to the road ahead and all the work you have already done. I remember several years ago doing seemingly endless google searches trying to find a way to use PT and it was very depressing to say the least, and then the next thing I new accessibility had became a reality for even intry level users of both the mac and PT. For an onlooker on the sidelines it seemed like it happend in the blink of an eye, but for people like you working behind the sceens I believe it took alot of effort, time, lazer focus and really digging in. Hats off to you and let the chips fall where they may, you have played an important role in this game of accessibility for Protools. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Slau Halatyn" <slauhala...@gmail.com>

Subject: stepping up again?

Those of you who have read my posts (especially the lengthy ones) concerning the bigger picture of Pro Tools accessibility and our relationship with Avid, know that I take it all very seriously and, to be frank, I've had moments of doubt on many occasions and felt like giving up. As I mentioned in my previous message, I did come to the conclusion that it was time for me to step down my involvement. I'm grateful for those who have replied both publicly and privately to my post. I've had several exchanges and conversations with many people over these last several days and I've given it some serious thought. I've decided to make a commitment to continue building upon the relationships I've developed with the people at Avid and help move the process along. Admittedly, the timeframe has been painfully slow and, as I'm sure everyone can relate, one sometimes feels like just giving up. I'm afraid I simply had a very public episode of such despair. Rather than letting it get the best of me, I'm determined to dust myself off and get back in the race.

Thanks to all for your continued support. I'm hopeful that we'll see some results in the near future.

Slau
