Avid has not approved any version of Pro Tools for Mavericks yet. There might 
be a specific version that will launch but they've outlined a whole slew of 
problems that can potentially occur so they recommend not upgrading yet. The 
next version of Pro tools will most likely be Mavericks compatible but that 
won't be released for several weeks.
