Hi sir slau and all:

Finally, I went to the avid dealer in Egypt and they did the license on my
ilok.

I wetn to:

www.ilok.com and I put my user and password. But could not find my licenses
written there, I found some dates the date for installing the license, but
not the license itself,

anyway, I feel that I'm ok now.

And I got the Kevin reevs pro tools part1, to start with, and hope I can
understand quickly,

But need to ask:

The avid dealer told me that if I'm using mavericks, I can install pro tools
10 or 11, but not the 2 versions in the same time, is it right??

Is there any other reference that I can use in starting using the software?

Hi Ramy,

Once your Pro Tools license is transferred to your iLok key, as long as that
key is plugged in, Pro Tools will launch and run normally.

Hi, I called them on the phone and they gave me directions on what they

Oh, really?

How will we do that? Just I will give them my activation and they will solve

the trick?

Or hat?

I made an avid accont and an ilok account.

Is there anything that I must do before call them?

Hi, I called Avid registration and had them do the remote process for me and

it was very easy to do on the mac. That is what I would suggest and no you

won't have to pay anything for this process. Nick Gawronski

Hi Ramy,

The iLok License Manager is not accessible on either platform, although

gordon indicated that he somehow managed, with some trepidation, to transfer

a license on Windows. Pace is aware of the issue and will eventually resolve

it but, in the mean time, you'll have to get some sighted assistance for

transferring licenses. I'd recommend you read the iLok License Manager pdf

so you know the procedure and can talk a sighted person through the process

when they're helping you with the transfer.

Yes, you'll be able to run both version 10 and 11 on your Mac, not at the

same time, of course.

Best,

HI all:

Am very very happy today. Finally!

Yes finally

I bought the combo protools 10 and 11,

I bought my pro tools, for version 10 and 11.

And now I'm putting my activations on my ilok,

But I'm doing this through windows, because I'm new in mac, but it's not

accessible at all.

Is there an other way to do this?

The ilok license manager is accessible through mac?

Or the same as windows?

And will I be able to install and use the 2 pro tools version on mac, 10 and

11?

Thanks in advance.

I will need more help after I will run the pro tools

And hope I will not disturb you.

Really Thanks so much for your continues support.

Cheers

Ramy Moustafa
