Hey poppa what you can also try,
Go to your home directory,
menu bar,
 go,
Library, preferences,
Look for your keyboard in  probably “COM.apple.your keyboard”
send it to the trash…
While you are at it send the protools preference to the trash  also
empty the trash, and restart
