Hello all, I am running pro tools 12, and I had a question about the meters. I have my meters set to infinite in the preferences, at first it wasn’t staying there when I went back in preferences to check to make sure that my settings were set to infinite, but I think I finally got it to stay on infinite instead of 3 seconds. What was happening was that it kept switching back to 3 seconds. Anyway, I opened up a session and I was reading the meter on the master fader, and it was jumping around. It would start at like -3, and then it would jump up to -5 and then -6, and then it would go back down. So my meters looked like they were jumping around, this doesn’t sound normal to me, so I thought I would bring it to the list. I noticed in preferences that there are new meters in pro tools 11 and 12, do I need to switch to a different meter type to be able to have it behave properly? Any help would be appreciated.
