It's suggested when taking the Pro Tools Tutorials available on the Pro Tools with Speech site that you want to check the input only monitoring option with Option K. However this doesn't work as those options changed in Pro Tools 12.1 and the keystroke does absolutely nothing. Further more it's not obvious to me at least where options are for input monitoring. Any help is appreciated!
