Hi all and a good morning. Last week i played finaly with my desired control service, the Avid S3. I used it with my already bought transport unit and my first working with this together was very promising. The faders and the layout of the s3 are realy ok. All things that i tryed were doable with knobs and without leaving the s3 or transport units.
One disadvantage uptil so far, the build in audiointerface works only when you record in 48 khz and that can be a problem, when you wanna do jobs that ask for more debth. Although however the s3 is of real plastic, the feel is great, knobs or big and steady and it appears to me, for me as a total blind enginear, it wil do the job without fail. I hope to work with it soon.
