PT 12.6 is not officially supported in Sierra yet. In my opinion el capitan is bad in terms of vo performence though. If you can, wait a month or so for PT 12.6.1 which will officially be supported in Sierra, then do your fresh install of Sierra and getPT 12.6 at the same time.
