Martin, it looks like the script can't get the list of tracks.

Few more things to ask to make sure.

Do you happen to be working inside edit window with mix window closed? If you 
press vo+f2 twice and open the window chooser, do you see both mix and edit 
windows?

I assume some tracks are shown, right?

If you interact with an individual track, can you find Track record enable 
button?

I can't think of anything else at the moment, but I'll keep thinking.
