Cool. Yes, some folks are very influenced by what others think and have a brand 
loyalty that sometimes overrides their better judgement. That's natural. 
Further, some folks are just bat shit crazy ;) Nevertheless, I can appreciate 
the question. When I initially made the jump full-time from the much older 
version of Pro Tools to the newer, I definitely inquired with a few colleagues 
to see what they were using and couldn't live without. I saw what people were 
using day to day and made it a point to check out those products. Of course, we 
all know it's the ear and not the gear. Still, it's nice to eliminate a
