Hi Brian,
Yep, I'm tolerating the Sierra behavior. Being able to jump between track list 
and clips list with VO+j and instantly going to the top or bottom of tables 
with VO+Home and End outweighs the nuisance of the VoiceOver focus issue. Also, 
I couldn't even begin to calculate the time I've saved with Flo Tools so it's 
all good.

Yes, the track list appearing to the right for you is because the mixer is 
scrolled down. Paging up should fix the problem and, yes, it's most likely 
because you're working from a template at the outset.

I still don't understand why your system is not letting you check the checkbox 
to allow scripts to control VoiceOver. That is a real head scratcher. Well, I'd 
say the transition to Sierra is worth it but I would highly recommend a nuke 
and pave approach so as not to inherit any quirks from Yosemite. Keep us posted.
