And, by the way, the steps you outlined are exactly right. Keep in mind that the process can work intermittently because Keyboard Maestro performs the click and drag at the computer's fastest speed and it sometimes does it faster than Pro Tools can register so you need to sometimes issue the command a few times. Sometimes it works the very first try. Remember, the drag will put the clip right where the insertion is and it's helpful (and possibly even necessary for the insertion cursor to be visible in the window. That's where the scrolling of the page comes in handy. Be aware also that Pro Tools seems to default to no scrolling unless perhaps a template remembers that kind of thing.
