Hi everybody. Sorry if this is off topic but the native instruments komplete kontrol list seems to have no traffic.
I recently purchased the ni kontrol s88 keyboard which included komplete select 11. I also purchased Omnisphere 2 as well as a Omnisphere nks package from a third party which is supposed to give one access to almost all of the Omnisphere 2 presets using their Ni Kontrol keyboard and the Komplete plug in in your daw. I was really excited to get this up and running but I'm having some issues. Hopefully someone on here will have a solution! I bought everything besides the nks package from sweetwater so I had them remote into my machine where the tech support guy proceeded to register/install the komplete select package as well as Omnisphere 2. So, the good news first. when I load komplete kontrol in my daw, I can browse the various komplete select libraries like drumlab, massive, the gentlemen, reactor, and west Africa etc and load patches no problem. Now the bad news... Omnisphere 2 however is nowhere to be found. The sweetwater tech support guy said that it does show up as an available plug in in komplete kontrol so I don't know what the issue is here... I placed the correct folders into the presets, images, and dist database directories and had someone rescan the plug ins and library directories but no luck. When I browse catagory or product using the keyboard, Omnisphere is simply not there. While I love the speech enabled browsing on the keyboard, it's frustrating that nothing is accessible in native access or komplete kontrol even if I use the jaws cursor and OCR etc. Any suggestions? Finally, I am a new Ni Komplete user so sorry if this is a basic question... Even if I had one preset loaded, I'm getting a nasty brick wall limiting effect. I looked on a forum and it said that the volume on the master bus may have been set above 0db which could cause this to happen. I'm not having luck with the komplete kontrol window so is this something I can change using the komplete keyboard itself? Track volume and master bus volume in my daw don't effect this one way or another and no, I have no compressor or limiter on the master bus for example.
