I've tried toe omf stuff a few times. You don't get any automation, and no midi, though you can always export that separately. And you need to freeze all of your soft synth tracks. You'll do as well just to export all your sonar tracks as .wav files and then import them into pro tools. I wish I could get the bwf time stamp stuff working but I've never had success with that. If Sonar supports OMF or AAF exporting (which I believe it does), you can export the project from Sonar and open it in Pro Tools. Again, no plug-ins will transfer and most likely no automation. I've opened Logic projects in Pro Tools and it's at least helpful to have things organized the way the client originally intended and all audio is exactly where it needs to be. Look into OMF/AAF exporting from Sonar.
