Hi Alex, Under the Basics area of the Preferences dialog, take a look at the "Organize Plug-ins Menus by" pop-up button. I recommend using "Category and manufacturer." This gives you the best of both worlds. If you're not sure what category a plug-in would fall into, you can look under the manufacturers submenus which appear below the categories. Keep in mind that some plug-ins will not show up if you're trying to instantiate something that isn't meant for the track format. For example, waves' L2 is a stereo plug-in which has no mono equivalent so, if you're trying to instantiate it on a mono track, you simply won't find it. Now, waves might have changed that in later versions but this has certainly been the case for many years. Some plug-ins will only show up under multiple mono rather than multi-channel menus. You might have to poke around a bit and double-check whether the plug-in you're trying to find will be compatible with the track to which you're trying to insert it.
