Hi Ramy,
As is often the case, the subject of automation is huge and there's nothing
like experimentation and trial and error to learn how it works. I can't go
through everything here but I'll mention a few important things.
1. If you've already written volume automation starting in Write mode, you'll
need to erase (or rather) cut that automation from your playlist because you
won't be able to change it easily now that it's been recorded. Change the track
view to Volume rather than waveform, select the track and the entire timeline
and press Delete. Double-check that the automation is gone. Don't forget to
eventually switch back to Waveform view for any editing.

2. Instead of writing automation in Write mode, use Latch mode. That way,
automation parameters stay at the last recorded value. This way, you won't have
to write automation in real time throughout the timeline. Pro Tools Ultimate
offers a few commands that help write automation to start, to the end and to a
selection. For regular Pro Tools users, many people just draw in automation but
for blind users not using Ultimate, Latch mode is a good way to go.
HTH,
Slau
