Interesting info, I have considered the high end Mac Mini 2018, since it also
is kind of portable and can work without a monitor when you run VoiceOver, but
all the reports on YouTube where people seem to need an external eGPU to run it
for anything involving video, has made me consider a new iMac 2019 instead. Not
sure how much graphic power is needed to run 100 or more tracks with all the
visual feedback presented on the screen. If you need an external eGPU only to
watch a HD video on YouTube or work with audio editing, I’ll say it’s a problem.

So I’ll appreciate any feedback from those of you that use the new Mac Mini
with Pro Tools and editing 100 or more tracks.

Best,
John André

Hi Rene!

High end means the 6 core I7 with 2 TB ssd and 32 or 64 GB ram?
