Which version of macOS are you running? The oder version of VOCR required a number of secondary tools to be installed to work correctly, and as I haven't used that version I can't help. The new alpha version released last fall to coincide with macOS Catalina only requires keyboard maestro to be installed as far as I am aware. Devin
