I absolutely understand completely that my experience would be way way better with a full sized keyboard using a numpad, and that this would be hugely hugely preferred and advised. So let me get that out of the way.

That said however, is it even remotely possible to navigate and effectively use ProTools without a numpad? I know I'd have to learn the commands, and that they'd be a bit different, and I know about flo numpad, although I really would rather just use native commands if possible, but I'm just curious how many things already are mapped to things on my regular keyboard? Right now, I'm not in a position due to living arrangements where I easily can hook up a full sized keyboard. That may change, but for the time being, I don't have an easy way to do it.

This is literally speaking the only thing holding me back right now from trying PT again. If you all can assure me that we can work around that, all be it, maybe not the most efficiently, I get that, if we can do it though, then I'll go ahead and call Sweetwater, and see what I can do to reinstate my license. Otherwise, I may have to hold off, but yeah, this is literally the only thing now holding me back.

Chris.
