If you are using Ptiny 0.5 under Solaris, then the problem
is explained in
http://ptolemy.eecs.berkeley.edu/ptsoftware.html
which says:
Ptiny 0.5, a demonstration version of Ptolemy, for Sun Sparc (SunOS4.x
only, not Solaris2.x), DecStation (Ultrix), and HP (HP/UX)
architectures, requiring 12 Mb of disk space. Ptiny0.5 will not
work under Solaris2.x, use Ptolemy0.7 instead.

If you downloaded the prebuild Ptolemy 0.7.1 binaries for
Solaris2.5.1, then the problem could be that the binaries were
compiled for 2.5.1, not Solaris 2.5. One solution would be to rebuild
from the sources. You could also try replicating the bug by using the
left mouse button in Tycho and see if it works at all (Try
highlighting text etc.). If it does, then the problem is with the
Control Panel code, if it does not, then I suspect the problem is a
OS/Window System/TclTk bug.

Also, if you are running ptiny on a Sparc, but displaying remotely,
try sitting at the Sparc and running Ptiny. Displaying remotely on a
PC Xserver can be problematic sometimes.

    Hello,

I have just installed Ptiny on a Solaris 2.5. It's working good but the
left mouse button doesn't work on control panel.
I can't push buttons like the GO one, but I can go to number box.

So do you know the problem ? And, have you got a solution ?

    Thanks a lot.
    Bye
