Hello,
I am using Ptolemy Classic over Linux Red Hat 6.0 with a Pentium 300.
I need to use the sound facilities, that is, run a simulation which takes a
sound file and listen to it and/or save it into a file.
I have seen several demos, for example the "lossySpeech" or the "speech"
demos in the "SDF Domain, Sound Demos". But I can't run them in my computer;
I can read in these demos that they must be run over SparcStation.
I have got 2 questions:
- Is there any universe that I can use to listen to any audio file? And can
I store the out into another audio file (I mean, is there any galaxy already
devoloped and ready for me to use it?)
-If I must devolep these facilities by myself, which model of Sun station
can run any sound application without problems?
Please, does anybody know the answers for these questions?
Thank you very much for your help in advance,
Juan Carlos
