Following up on Russell's excellent presentation on OpenWRT last week, I've developed a set of scripts to automatically provision an OpenWRT ap or router for your network including firmware flashing, setting the system clock (via NTP), package setup and configuration uploading. While I realize this doesn't hold much utility for the average user, anyone that provisions multiple OpenWRT devices with similar configurations on a regular basis may find this useful.
Basically once you've set your configuration environment once, you plug in the device you want to configure press a button and 3-4 minutes later you have a fully operational AP containing your stock configuration without any required user intervention. http://www.stephouse.net/files/openwrtprovisioner/openwrtprovisioner.v0.1.tgz DISCLAIMER: don't run it if you don't understand what it's doing.
