Personal Telco isn't considering this on our own, but we are actively working to be a part of local efforts to use that money to the direct benefit of our community. Our secretary, Russell Senior, recently attended the first meeting of the local group working on this, and we're planning to be very involved. As far as abandoned WiFi equipment. We've made some overtures to the city indicating that we would be interested in them handing it over so we can attempt to salvage it for some good. If you'd like to see that happen, I suggest you contact the council and tell them it matters to you. I believe it falls into the city's hands in April. -- Michael Weinberg President Personal Telco Project, Inc.
