Hi Gerry

yes, it happened to me a couple of weeks ago.  I thought it had just got
screwed up, but it appears to be a "feature".

I was at the beginning of a section. I deleted the second phrase and tried
to join phrase 1 and 3 which had become phrase 2. I got an "unable to join
phrase" sort of message. Nothing seemed possible to overcome this.
