Gerry,

This is pretty much up to you. Examples of the sort of thing you might want
to use if for might be:

List items as Scott suggested
Header and footer information
Descriptions of diagrams or other graphics
Quotations
Reader's notes

Obviously these will not occur in every title but may be a helpful use of
the group option where they do.

I think that in the PTR1 manual they are used for contents items, level 1 &
2 headings, items that relate to safety and other notes in the text.

Hope this helps.

Jamie

Subject: Setting of GROUP headings on PTR1

HI:

Does anyone have any practical examples of when you might set a GROUP
heading level while recording with PTR1? I understand Level 1,2,3 etc. and
page headings but I'm not sure of the functionality of the GROUP heading
and the manual is not clear

Thanks,
Gerry Chevalier
