Hi Andrew and all, I can confirm that it looks as though the PTR1 is happy with either format and with a Type I or Type II adapter as needed, depending on the card used. That's good stuff. Now I can record without picking up the clicking noise from the PCMCIA I have. I'll use that for holiday music!
