Andrew,

The error announced by the PTR1 was something like "Uncompatible card". I
ended up with two cards (long story) one of which says Fat 32 and the other
FAT. I tried to reformat one of them on my PC, doing a complete reformat
and not a quick one, but the format didn't appear to happen because my Title
announcement still remained.

I really don't think, after the period of time that has elapsed and the
decision I had reached that the cards were OK, I can now send them back,
especially having played with the formatting.

It's more than annoying!

Hi Carol,

I would be interested to know the error you got when attempting this -
also, what was physically on the card (if you can read it using a card
reader or somesuch). Furthermore, was it formatted to FAT/FAT32?

Andrew.
