I can help you with difference recording on a card rather than a COULD. When you are recording on a card and your in the daisy format when you turn off the machine because you neeed change the record or what ever when you put it back on record it does not chamge the track automatically like it does when you are when you are record inthe music COULD format. Also you can fix your errors on a card where you can't on a COULD. you can put not more things on a compact card than you can on a music COULD. If you want to tramsfer from card to COULD you need to make sure you don't have too much and the card it won't work. So you you have to time it just right. Hope this helps Linda Reeder
