There is truly no excuse for the very poor documentation that Plextor provides. It's truly a disgrace, especially since the Plextalk is such a complex and outstanding unit.

Hi all, Hopefully someone can stop me from going insane. Yes I have looked
at the manual. But haven't found the information I need.

The article which disappeared off my PCMCIA card on Wednesday seems to have
permanently vanished. So, I thought I would try and copy and paste the
article back on to the card from a previously backed up CD.

From reading the manual it seems to suggest that you can copy phrases or
sections from one medium (IE the CD) on to another (the PCMCIA card). But
when I tried to do this I was told that there was no audio to paste.

So, am I correct in thinking that it is not possible to copy audio from a CD
on to a PCMCIA card?

If this is not possible, how can I put these two audio files back together?
Will the PRS software do this? If so how? I have been playing with that all
day as well and not getting anywhere.

What I need to do is copy the first article (which is on CD) and paste it in
to the file on the PCMCIA card so that the article is back at the beginning
of that file which will then contain all the articles that I have recorded
in date order.

Thanks for any help
