Thanks Linda, I solved one of my problems but still have some things I can't figure. For instance, how does one tell the power off and on timer witch one you want and, can you tell it to began recording when it comes on. Just coming on won't help much, what will it do when it activates. Also, the note pad has me, to coin an old expression, buffaloed. I suppose I will go and look this up in the manual and then call somebody.
