I have had the p t r about a month now and this has happened to me twice. First time I was recording on a c d r and I had stopped and started several times and it just locked up and all it would say was, pleas wait. Second time was last Sunday and all I was doing was playing back some programs I had recorded on the card from public radio. Same thing, and the same message. Should we just say the firm wear is unstable and maybe it will get fixed with an update, or do I have a problem. I own a beautiful peace of gear made by mackie and it is called an m d r 24 96. It also is a digital recorder, 24 tracks but, it is like this thing, just a computer. I have had it for almost 3 years now and never had that kind of problems with it. I have done many things with this recorder like, move files, deleted files, and like that. Second time this occurred, I put a disk in the recorder, naturally the default is the disk so I could go to the minue, just erased the card and the problem went away.
