The jump feature works in winamp with mp3 files, though sometimes with
particular mp3 files encoded in vbr format it is not accurate or the files
is trunkated in the time display and not the "playing" of the file is
trunkated. Though this is not a winamp discussion list, potentially the
ptr1 might experience problems if the software uses a similar scheme to
determine the time in mp3 files if vbr is used when the file was encoded.
More often than not, however, winamp will properly jump to a particular
time in mp3 file(s) it is true with that exception.
