Hi,

Possibly the disk usage overhead for the FAT is causing the massive
overheads - it gets heavy over around 540MB, which means that the data
you store on the disk actually takes up more memory than if using FAT32,
which is more efficient.

Andrew.

Subject: flash card change

Hello. I'm wondering if anyone can explain this. We had a 1 gig card. We
recorded some on it last week. Now it only shows 964 meg available. I
formatted the card and nothing changed. I formatted it as just fat.
