Hi Georges: The smart money says that the PTR1 you received in november was sitting on a shelf somewhere for some time as part of your vender's inventory before it was shipped to you.
There's only one way to tell what version you have. Here are the keys to press on the telephone-style keypad; I'll use "pound" to indicate enter: 5 4 pound 6 pound 6 Just hit the keys in that order. Hit pound again after you are given your version number. If you don't have the latest version, (my guess is that you don't), then go to: www.plextalk.com/downloads_PTR1firmware.html and follow the links and instructions available there.
