Not sure what you mean with no-op. It would always deny access as long as the access control policy applies.


However, I added <?access-control deny=...?> for now.

I continue to be opposed to this, for all the reasons stated
earlier.

Do you have a proposed alternative solution? And maybe a pointer to your earlier stated reasons?
