(1) Open any web browser.
(2) Go to http://irc.w3.org
(3) In the "Nickname" field, enter a short nickname for yourself, which will
appear to other users during the chat. (Often, we use the first name in all
lowercase, followed immediately (no space) by the last initial in uppercase.
For example, my name is John Madden, and my irc nickname is usually johnM.)
(4) In the "Channels" field, enter the following:

(5) Press the "Connect" button.
(6) You will be placed into the chat. You can add your own comments to the chat
by typing into the white box at the bottom of the page and hitting Return.
