In section 1 I find:
"The name of the object is XMLHttpRequest for compatibility with the web,"
I know what you're getting at, but I don't think that's quite accurate.
I suspect what you want is something like "for compatibility with
existing web browsers and JavaScript implementations".
If you really do means to say "the web" it should be capitalized as "the
Web" (there's only one).
