Looking at http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/domcore/raw-file/tip/Overview.html#events and http://www.w3.org/TR/DOM-Level-3-Events/#interface-Event For the IDL definition the only line which is really different is # DOM-Level-3-Events void initEvent( DOMString type, optional boolean bubbles, optional boolean cancelable); # Web Dom Core void initEvent( in DOMString eventTypeArg, in boolean canBubbleArg, in boolean cancelableArg); The prose in between the two is very different.
