I made a PR for making the pagination default switch: https://github.com/pulp/pulpcore/pull/275
I plan to merge this on Tuesday Aug 27th at the request of some users who desire this change soon. If this timeline is too short, or doesn't work for you, please reply so we can adjust. This won't be a large breaking change, but once merged you will need to use newer bindings produced post-merge. Older bindings are not compatible if using the pagination features of the bindings.
