This is highly confusing:
# pulp-admin auth login --username=admin --password=admin
Error: No valid credentials; Please run `pulp-admin auth login` or use
`--username` and `--password`
ok, so I try:
# pulp-admin --username=admin --password=admin auth login
Usage: pulp-admin <options> auth login <options>
pulp-admin: error: Option --username is required; please see --help
hmm, that doesn't work, so I try:
# pulp-admin --username=admin --password=admin auth login
--username=admin --password=admin
User credentials successfully stored at [/root/.pulp]
is there a bug for this confusing situation? I searched but didn't find
one.
Mike
I got stuck on that for an hour or so too. The page implies that -u
and --username are interchangeable but they don't seem to be for at
least this command.
