I did not have goferd running on the new server, I started it, cancelled the hung task and re-ran it but it still hangs. To make things more interesting I tried unregistering my new server as a consumer, and pulp now says that it is not a consumer. However, qpid still seems to think it exists. I have stopped and restarted all of the pulp services - with this command - for s in {qpidd,pulp_celerybeat,pulp_resource_manager,pulp_workers,httpd}; do service $s stop; done Then stopped everything and restarted just qpidd. I am still seeing what looks like a job in the queue, via lsof -- # lsof | grep rhel1qpidd 18840 qpidd 487w REG 253,0 1573376 524783 /var/lib/qpidd/rhm/jrnl/001b/pulp.agent.rhel1/JournalData.0000.jdatqpidd 18840 qpidd 488w REG 253,0 1573376 524784 /var/lib/qpidd/rhm/jrnl/001b/pulp.agent.rhel1/JournalData.0001.jdatqpidd 18840 qpidd 489w REG 253,0 1573376 524785 /var/lib/qpidd/rhm/jrnl/001b/pulp.agent.rhel1/JournalData.0002.jdatqpidd 18840 qpidd 490w REG 253,0 1573376 524786 /var/lib/qpidd/rhm/jrnl/001b/pulp.agent.rhel1/JournalData.0003.jdatqpidd 18840 qpidd 491w REG 253,0 1573376 524787 /var/lib/qpidd/rhm/jrnl/001b/pulp.agent.rhel1/JournalData.0004.jdatqpidd 18840 qpidd 492w REG 253,0 1573376 524788 /var/lib/qpidd/rhm/jrnl/001b/pulp.agent.rhel1/JournalData.0005.jdatqpidd 18840 qpidd 493w REG 253,0 1573376 524789 /var/lib/qpidd/rhm/jrnl/001b/pulp.agent.rhel1/JournalData.0006.jdatqpidd 18840 qpidd 494w REG 253,0 1573376 524790 /var/lib/qpidd/rhm/jrnl/001b/pulp.agent.rhel1/JournalData.0007.jdatqpidd 18840 qpidd 495r REG 253,0 1573376 524783 /var/lib/qpidd/rhm/jrnl/001b/pulp.agent.rhel1/JournalData.0000.jdat
