Hi Pete,

The first thing to check is if your Pulp is in a healthy state. Can you
post the output of `pulp-admin status`? Some tasks can't be run until Pulp
is in a fully functional state. Also are there any errors in the log.

If you can confirm that all of the necessary processes are running then its
possible you are experiencing a deadlocking with Qpid?
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-7317 If you are experiencing
deadlock you have two options:

1) Install python-qpid 0.36 which is built but not yet promoted to the
'stable' fedora and epel7 repositories. https://apps.fedoraproject.
org/packages/python-qpid You can install the rpm manually and even give
karma feedback on how it works for you. I recommend this path. We believe
this resolved the deadlocking issue.

2) Switch to rabbitMQ for the Pulp broker. Pulp does not QE against
rabbitMQ so I don't recommend this path but it should work.

Please send questions or ideas.

-Brian
